2008 Honda CBR1000RR Reviews:
cycleworld has reviewed the 2008 Honda CBR1000RR and given out-
“Though the new 1000RR is noticeably more compact than last year’s model, it’s not uncomfortably so. And the handling is nothing short of sensational. The ease with which the bike turns in and makes side-to-side directional changes is uncanny for a liter-class machine, yet the bike is extremely stable. It has perfectly neutral steering that makes holding a lean angle or a line through corners a no-brainer.”

popularmechanics has reviewed the 2008 Honda CBR1000RR and given out-
“The 2008 CBR1000RR is smoother at speed than the outgoing model, with more precise turn-in and higher limits all around. While most of its competition has added pounds in order to cope with increasingly stringent emissions standards, Honda’s lean-and-mean approach has made it a potent force, both on the track and off. Since we value our licenses as well as our lives, we’re saving all that speed for the raceway.”

motorcycle has reviewed the 2008 Honda CBR1000RR and given out-
“In case I haven’t yet made it perfectly clear, this 2008 CBR1000RR is the best liter-sized Honda ever, and that’s really saying something. It’s as fast as hell and very agile, but its most notable feature is how manageable a blazing Superbike like this can be. I’d never recommend a literbike to a sportbike neophyte, but you could do much worse than this CBR.”

motorcycle-usa has reviewed the 2008 Honda CBR1000RR and given out-
“The big question for 2008 will be where the all-new CBR stacks up against its literbike competitors. Neil Hodgson and Miguel Duhamel will be pushing the new Honda against the dominating Yoshimura Suzuki squad in the AMA Superbike series. And then there is always MotorcycleUSA’s Superbike Smackdown. For now, we’ll just have to wait and see.”

With a staggering 130 horsepower, the HP2 Sport features the most powerful Boxer engine ever designed by BMW Motorrad. For the first time ever, double overhead camshafts are included in our famous opposed twin cylinder motor, kicking out even more revs.

Making the HP2 Sport even more track-ready is new Quickshifter technology, which means faster gear changes without having to chop the throttle or use the clutch. Add a fully adjustable Ohlins sport front and rear suspension, Radial mounted Brembo Monobloc brakes, a lightweight carbon fiber aerodynamic fairing, not to mention forged racing wheels and tires and a MotoGP-inspired cockpit that computes lap times and other racing data, and the result is one of the most advanced sport bikes to ever scorch the tarmac.

Throttle up. Blast off.

MSRP: $25,375

“BMW vehicles have always had an air of exclusivity to them. The ownership of a BMW sort of implies that you’ve chosen to take a slightly different path. Possessing one says to the world that you’re willing to pay the piper more than what most are willing to sacrifice in order to have what many only dream of owning.”

“The new HP2’s track credentials are beefed up by a quickshifter, which allows gear changes up through the six-speed transmission without messing with the throttle and clutch. The Sport’s shifter can also be adapted to a racing pattern. ”

The all-new 2009 F 650 GS offers more power and more thrills per mile than ever before in the form of a 71 hp, torque-filled, twin cylinder engine. From touring, to off-road exploring, to sporty handling on the tarmac, this middleweight machine, based on the much anticipated F 800 GS, does anything and everything the ambitious motorcyclist could ever want.

With a rigid steel tube trellis frame, it’s sturdy. With a double-sided swing arm and chain drive, it’s reliable. And with a low seat height and narrow design, it’s ideal for darting through trees or traffic. Cast aluminum wheels and telescopic forks keep the ride smooth and precise at all times. Throw in disengageable ABS and even Tire Pressure Monitoring as options, and you get a road-hungry, enduro-styled motorcycle that can tackle anything in its path and beg for more.

Hop on. And blast off with BMW’s newest twin.

MSRP: $7,100
